Listed on this page are all the teams that you have registered or have joined via RacePass for WTRL TTT #253
Please click the 'RacePass' logo to copy your Team's unique RacePass to your devices clipboard.
You can then paste the link directly into your browser or share with your team by pasting to an email, Discord Channel etc.
We reccomend that you do not share these links publicly or anywhere where there may be people you do not want in your team. Anyone clicking the RacePass link to join your team is also placed directly into the event and pen.
Q. What is RacePass?
A. RacePass is WTRL's unique event entry control system that started development in Spring 2020. RacePass can analyse and verify almost any aspect of a team or riders data to determine where a rider should be placed based on any number of factors. This is AutoCat (or ACE) - a system designed by WTRL (and not to be confused with Zwift's Category Enforcement (ZCE)).
Q. How does RacePass work for the WTRL TTT?
For the WTRL TTT, RacePass associates anyone clicking the teams unique link to that team and then automagically signs them on to the event and pen as per the teams registration. Anyone who then subsequently crosses the start line having used that link will automatically count towards the number of riders in that team, rider category and therefore CoffeeClass and final results.
Q. Is it possible to edit my teams registration to another CoffeeClass or event time?
A. Yes - go to the TTT Team Management Page, ensuring you are signed in. If you registered the team, you'll find both an edit and delete button for each team as well as the abillity to remove riders that are signed up for your team.
Q. I no longer wish to ride in the WTRL TTT this week but I have clicked a RacePass.
A. Your Team Manager can either remove you from the team (which also removes you from the event at Zwift too) or you can simply avoid joining or crossing the start line. Should you wish to rejoin after being removed, you will need to reclick the RacePass.
Q. What happens if I click on the wrong RacePass?
A. You'll be added to that teams starting roster and automagically signed in to the start pen. Your Team Manager will need to remove you from the team you arent supposed to be with. If you cross the start line in that event however without being removed, you will be counted to that teams results.
Q. How do I change teams?
A. If you change teams, you MUST click the new teams RacePass. This is the only way to gain access to WTRL TTT events now. If your 2 teams are in the same pen, the last RacePass you clicked on will determine the team you are going to be included with. You'll always see a live list of all the teams you have joined on the TTT Team Management page.
Q. Do RacePasses expire?
A. Yes - currently 1 minute before banner drop. If you have not clicked your teams RacePass by this time, you will not be able to gain access to the start line. WTRL TTT events are no longer accessible to the general Zwift population and can only be accessed through the WTRL website.Note: As race passes now expire just before banner drop, you will not be able to reformat your team if mistakes are made once the TTT race starts (banner drop).
Q. How does a support car or non-riding streamer access a start pen?
A. By clicking your teams RacePass. We do request that anyone in this role avoids joining a race pen but if they have to they should not connect their trainer to Zwift and must not cross the start line. If they cross the start line, they become part of the team for results purposes. THIS CANNOT BE UNDONE.
Your registration is complete. All details, including your teams RacePass will be available from Team Management.
